CHP (Community Help Program) was formed to increase the well-being of the community by providing free health services, social services, counseling and education programs. It provides programs that develop and strengthen the community by providing relief to the uninsured, underinsured and distressed through the provision of free health services and limited emergency assistance programs
The ISM often provides programs that include free medical screening, medical check-ups and other related services.
The Community Help Program (CHP), which operates under the auspices of the ISM, runs a free medical clinic at the ISM Community Center, 815 W. Layton Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The CHP Free Clinic is open every Saturday from 2:00pm-5:00pm and starting in February 2012, every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m..
The CHP Free Clinic offers basic medical care, a variety of blood tests and discounted medications to uninsured and underinsured members the community.
ISM personnel also donate their services at free medical clinics throughout the area.
