Upcoming Events

On March 25, 2012, the ISM will host the Milwaukee Area Interfaith Youth Cafe.  The program will run from 12:30-3:30pm.  Register by calling (414) 410-4583 (Sean Lansing).   On June 2 or June 9, 2012, the ISM will hold its community-wide graduation program honoring graduate seniors in our community.  The program will be held at the ISM Community Center. RECENT EVENTS AT THE ISM On Saturday, March 3, 2012, the ISM Youth Program held a Qiyam session at the ISM.  The speakers included Mufti Azeemuddin Ahmed and Shaykh Noman Hussain who spoke about the AfterLife.  The program was open for all until midnight.  From midnight to Fajr prayer, the program was for brothers only, 13 years of age or older.         On Saturday, February 18, 2012, Salam School held its Second Annual Islamic Convention in the Islamic Center.  The convention was organized and operated entirely by students.  Over 200 attendees listed to both local and regional speakers.  A confirmation group from a local church that was visiting the Islamic Center had the opportunity to sit in on one of the lectures by Habeeb Quadri. On Sunday, February 12, 2012, the ISM co-sponsoring a workshop conducted by Josh Ruebner, the National Advocacy Director of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation. The program was held at the ISM Community Center, 815 W. Layton Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53221. On February 6, 2012, the Islamic Center held a blood drive witht the Blood Center of Wisconsin.  Over 40 units of blood were donated between 2:30 and 6:30pm.
