Since its purchase in April of 2015, the ISM University Center has not only served as the primary place of worship for the Muslim community on Milwaukee's east side, it has maintained the connection between our college students and the local Muslim community.
Iqamah is the second call to Islamic Prayer, given immediately before the prayer begins. Compared to the adhan (first call to prayer), as it is addressed to those already in the mosque rather than a reminder for those outside it to go to the mosque.
