Who is responsible for the operation of Salam School?
Salam School is a collaborative effort of parents, community resources and the Islamic Society of Milwaukee.
How much is the tuition?
The tuition for the 2000-2001 school year is $2,650 for the first child from a family; $5,300 for two children; $6,950 for-three children and $7,950 for four or more children.
What kinds of grants are available?
PAVE SCHOLARSHIP: This Scholarship of $1,000 per year is available to those who will qualify.
CHOICE: The Milwaukee Parental School Choice program allows students whose families live in the city of Milwaukee and meet income guidelines to attend Salam School at no charge.
What special support services are available for students and families?

How does the school provide a disciplined and safe environment for my child?
Faculty and administration receive ongoing training in peer mediation and crisis intervention. Faculty and administration advocate and teach students self-discipline. The school clearly identifies and puts into practice parent and school expectations for student's safety.
Do the teachers have to be certified?
Yes. It is school policy that all teachers are certified or certifiable.
