The ISM is very concerned about food insecurity in our community. Providing
basic food assistance to needy members of the community is an essential
principle in our faith tradition. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated
that "He who eats his fill while his neighbors go hungry is not a true believer.”
For over twenty years, the ISM has been a major financial contributor to the
Milwaukee Islamic Dawah Center (MIDC) Food Pantry. The MIDC is located at
5135 N. Teutonia Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. 53209.
